Wrinkle Release Toning Treatment - How does it work?

Electrical impulses in your body trigger chemical reactions in and between the cells of your skin. These reactions control your skin's ability to produce collagen and elastin which are necessary for youthful tone and elasticity. As we age, the reactions slow down, and collagen and elastin levels decrease.

Microcurrent is low level current (electricity) that mirrors your body's own natural electrical impulses. Microcurrent stimulates the chemical reactions that control natural collagen and elastin production in your skin. This results in improved circulation and a visible lifting, smoothing, contouring, and firming of the skin.

The more mature skin you have, the more frequently it is necessary that you have the treatment and why maintenance sessions are recommended for all age groups.

The drawing below illustrates what happens to skin over time or without proper care or protection. Note that the muscles on the right side of this drawing are lax or loose giving a droopy look. The muscles on the left side of the drawing have firm, youthful tone.
