Artist Bio

Alyssa McKenzie is an award winning makeup artist and facialist based in New England and South Florida. She is experienced in makeup for weddings, television and runway. Formerly a web developer, she has been a professional makeup artist since 2005. Combining her technical and analytical side with her artistic skill, she is known for her focus on creating flawless skin.  Knowing continuing education is key she constantly is seeking to hone her craft and has trained with international makeup artist David Horne at the Jemma Kidd Makeup School in London, UK.

Alyssa’s television work has been seen on the national stage during the last two Presidential Elections working on candidates, celebrities, news personalities and pundits for CNN, CBS, MSNBC, Bloomberg, FOX News, HBO and Comedy Central.

Her experience with wedding makeup has led to runway work at New York Fashion Week and New York Bridal Fashion Week with international designers including Uwi Twins, Este & Chlo, Pnina Tornai of TLC Network show Say Yes to the Dress as well as Mark Zunino, Karen Willis Holmes, Dan Jones, Cappellazzo Couture, Anna Campbell, Gwendolynne, Mira Mandic, Daughters of Simone, Sara Janks, and Made with Love Bridal.

Alyssa works with traditional and airbrush makeup and is also available for photo shoots, personal consultations, lessons and destination weddings.
